Someone once very wisely said, “A picture can replace a thousand words.” Curious and creative by nature, an explorer by choice and a designer by profession is how Peter Alwin will describe himself. He loves to live in the moment and capture those moments through the lenses of his beloved camera. So, when he decided to visit Thailand he made sure that he chose

My latest trip to Thailand was truly exhilarating to say the least. I spent almost three weeks there travelling from Krabi in the south to Bangkok. I flew directly to Krabi and spent my first two nights at the Konjum Beach. Calm and turquoise are the two words that came to my mind to define the place. I would strongly recommend traveling to Thailand from November to the beginning of December before the strong tourist season starts.

Continuing ahead by a ferry to the Phi Phi Islands, I did a day trip by renting out a private long tail boat and exploring the nearby islands. It should be a must in your to-do list. The deserted remote beaches are fantastic with clear waters and massive.

They truly are some majestic creatures, a pure joy to watch them roam free in the wild. Later, I ended up spending a night in the forest cottage and loved the experience hence would highly recommend it. Don’t be surprised to see some wild animals come knocking at your door!

My last destination was Bangkok, a completely different experience. If one is into high-risers, hordes of people and flashing lights then one can spend a lot of time in the biggest city of Thailand. There are a number of temples to visit in and around Bangkok. However, my highlight was the ‘Wat Pra Keaw’ and its architecture. You can take a two hour train ride to Ayutthaya which is the ancient capital of Thailand where the ruins from the 16th century showcasing their history are very well preserved. Thailand offers an amazing food culture and even as a vegetarian one won’t be disappointed at all! All in all I had a fantastic trip and would definitely visit again to explore the northern part of Thailand such as Chiang Mai.
